During this session the ladies were taught how to use a female condom as one of the family planning methods among others, that are safe and non-hormonal.
Many of these ladies had been taught by Mariam a VHT in this village about the different methods but they had some myths about family planning usage. FASBEC together with Pathfinder work on ensuring that the people of Butambala and Gomba get all the information there is about family planning and its usage.
FASBEC is implementing a USAID Family Planning Activity Project in Butambala and Gomba District, they work with existing structures to advance the Family planning messages to the local communities.
